Multinational technology company Microsoft have creative fun and focus on team dynamics with Catalyst team building activity Team Torque.
The event kicked off with teams from Microsoft participating in a series of challenges in order to gain parts for their team's model car putting team dynamics to the test. Utilising project planning skills, they constructed the car as a team and then drawing on their collective creative skills they designed and decorated banners and promotional materials to support and cheer on their team!
The teams lined up at the start and when the flags flew, the designated mechanics pumped air into the rocket forcing the car off the starting grid and down the track. Microsoft participants cheered their team on with cheer leaders, waving banners and flags! A photo finish!! But in the end, there could be only one winner and the car that travelled the further-est and straightest down the track was declared the winner.
The Microsoft team morale was extremely high. They thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of the event. Most participants said how enjoyable it was to get-hands on and do something tactile and creative. And of course, they all enjoyed the competitive spirit of the race finale!
Complete challenges to gain car parts to build, decorate and air pump down the drag strip.
